Coastal Aquariums is the premier full-service aquarium design, installation and maintenance company on the Central Coast of California. Founded by owner Mike Roesé in 1997; his passion for the ocean and reef systems is apparent in each and every Coastal Aquariums design. Mike's knowledge gained from his experience earning his degree in Ecology and Systematic Biology at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo is reflected in each of the aquarium ecosystems he creates.
With this background, Mike is well-versed in how ecosystems function as well as the chemical and mechanical processes of the aquarium. He has worked closely with architects, interior designers and home owners to create aquarium systems that fit into a variety of offices, restaurants and homes.
